We employ a Financial Inclusion Team that has a wealth of experience in all aspects of welfare and benefit advice. By offering a comprehensive welfare benefits advice and energy efficiency advice, our unique service is aimed at maximising tenant’s income. The team can help to:
- Complete benefit checks
- Provide representation at appeals tribunals.
- Provide advice on any type of benefits including tax credits
- Make social fund applications.
- Provide assistance with benefit overpayment issues.
- Assist in resolving problems with rent arrears, including Housing Benefit backdating requests and appeals.
- Complete home energy checks
- Switching energy suppliers
- How to deal with unpaid fuel bills
