We employ a Financial Inclusion Team that has a wealth of experience in all aspects of welfare and benefit advice. By offering a comprehensive welfare benefits advice and energy efficiency advice, our unique service is aimed at maximising tenant’s income. The team can help to:

  • Complete benefit checks
  • Provide representation at appeals tribunals.
  • Provide advice on any type of benefits including tax credits
  • Make social fund applications.
  • Provide assistance with benefit overpayment issues.
  • Assist in resolving problems with rent arrears, including Housing Benefit backdating requests and appeals.
  • Complete home energy checks
  • Switching energy suppliers
  • How to deal with unpaid fuel bills
