NHS Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Group (SFCCG) Governing Body has representation from General Practice surgeries, nurses, practice staff and a lay person. The Governing Body are supported by a small operational management team, which brings specialist commissioning skills and expertise to the Group. The management roles are shared with NHS South Sefton CCG (SSCCG) to ensure effectiveness and efficiency across Sefton.
NHS Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Group is split into locality areas covering Southport , Churchtown, Ainsdale and Formby, this means that GP practices can focus their work on their local health issues that really affect the patients living in the areas they cover.
